About Us
We are a site dedicated to the game of poker. Whether it be 7 Stud, Omaha, or Pineapple, we pride ourselves on the love of the game. At the same time we hope to change the perspecive of the game some with humor, alas Bluffnaked.
History
Bluffnaked was born in 2001, it was derived from Bucknaked, which was a nickname a friend and I gave a basketball player named Buck Williams of the Portland Trailblazers years ago. We also had other nicknames for the other players on the Trailblazers like, Kevin Duckworth became Kevin Duckworthless, and Clyde Drexler became Clyde the Mudslide, Alaa Abdelnaby was Alaa Slobonthenaby, and Danny Ainge was The Mainge. We were Bulls fans at that time, and in 1992 The Trailblazers were the Bulls biggest threat to de-throne them, so that's a little explanation of where Bucknaked came from. Then internet poker started taking off in 2001, so I needed a screen name, I chose Bucknaked. After a while it hit me "Bluffnaked". Then came BluffnakedPoker and my idea to start a website and t-shirts.
Future Goals
My goals with this are to design T-shirts and other merchandise to start the bluffnakedpoker craze. I also would like to use this website as a portal to home players to help them find other home players to be able to invite new people to their home poker games and tournaments.And lastly, I'd just like to have a place to chat and laugh about the game of poker.
